Six Of The Best; Day Beds

If you’ve been following my Six Of The Best series you will know that I surf the internet to find my favourite items on-line. This time I have turned my attention to Day Beds.
They are not just stylish pieces of furniture but also very versatile. They can provide comfortable seating during the day and be transformed into a bed at night. Depending on the model this could be a large single bed or a perfectly adequate double.

The Two Pack Day Bed from Loaf is literally two single beds stacked one on top of the other. Once dismantled they can be used as two singles or pushed together to make a double.
Similarly the Hardaway Single from Wayfair has a pull out trundle with fold out legs. Again this can be used as two singles, with legs unfolded, or not, or as a double with the legs unfolded and the bed raised to an equal height.

The Fusion Bed from BoConcept is an extremely stylish chaise during the day which works well as a single bed at night. It comes in an array of finishes to ensure it ties in with a multitude of interior schemes.

The Library Chaise from Sweetpea & Willow is another example of an elegant solution. Upholstered in this tactile velvet in a choice of pastel shades it is a stunning piece of furniture. At 170cm long, perhaps not long enough for an adult to be comfortable, but the perfect size for a small child on a roll-out mattress.

This outdoor daybed by House Doctor from Amara is perfect for sleeping under the sun or the stars.

Last, but by no means least, this vintage bedstead is an example of those stocked by Vinterior. This would make a gorgeous addition to a garden or to a bedroom.
