“Six Of The Best” Hat Stands

Six Of The Best Hat Stands

To celebrate National Hat Day 2022 I’ve been checking out hat stands. They seem to come in all shapes and sizes but generally accommodate coats as well. Read on to discover my six favourites.

Six of the Best Hat Stands

At first glance I thought this one from Cox & Cox was your standard freestanding coat and hat rack. It was only when I read the description that I realised it was wall mounted. Its semi-circular form is constructed from distressed steel and it features eight hooks and a handy space for umbrellas. This would be a great addition to any hallway with its space saving design. Not only that but it is currently reduced in the Cox & Cox January sale.

Another rustic rack is this one from Rockett St. George. This black industrial-style version incorporates a handy bench seat, a shoe rack and two small storage drawers. This works well here in this entrance hall but could work equally well in a bedroom or boot room.

Personally I love a luggage rack and this one from Graham & Green ticks all of the boxes for me. Made from brass and finished in an antique gold or silver it is a very elegant and practical piece of furniture. The addition of the mirror ensures that your hat is perfectly styled before leaving the house.

Similar in design to the Cox & Cox stand this one from Hill Interiors is handcrafted in bronze but is freestanding. This practical and stylish hat and coat stand would look lovely in an entrance hall or an office and, if you choose, you could easily pick it up and move it from one room to another.

Graham & Green have obviously cornered the market when it comes to luggage racks. Again the perfect place to store hats, coats and bags, with a lovely mirror to boot. This style could also work in a bathroom to house towels, robes, and all sorts of bathing paraphernalia.

Last, but, by no means least is this fabulous wall hook from Rockett St. George. It comes in a multitude of colours and gestures but this gorgeous pink ‘peace’ sign would definitely be my first choice. Perhaps a collection of all of them would brighten an otherwise dark hallway. What do you think?
